The Castle of Tornano
stands crowning a hill in the heart of the Chianti area, equipped
with one of the most beautiful and particular Keep between all those
of the medieval castles of Tuscany. Tornano, national monument protected
by the Ministry for Fine Arts, is a medieval castle dated 1100 A.D.,
located on a hillside amid woods and vineyards, in the southernmost
tip of the Chianti region. This Castle offers charming rooms
inside the castle and country style apartments in
the farmhouse anside the castle.
Tornano can be reached driving on the SS408, that cross the whole
Chianti Classico area toward Siena, following the indications. |
