Ripa d'Orcia with its splendid location, offers tourists who want to visit the beautiful cities of art in Tuscany, Umbria and Northern Latium an ideal place to start. Nowadays the Estate covers an area of 320 hectares (around 800 acres), 6 hectares of which are dedicated to vineyards all around the Castle and about 10 hectares of specialized olive trees located in the area of S. Quirico d’Orcia. Recently the ancient wine-cellar has been converted into a tasting room where small groups, on appointement, can taste the Estate production of Orcia Wines and Extra virgin Olive Oil.
