Getting to the Castle
By car from North(Bologna-Firenze). Highway A-1 exit ‘Firenze-Certosa’: follow the signs to Siena up to the exit ‘Siena Sud’. Drive onto the SR 2 (SS-2 Cassia) to Roma -> Monteroni d’Arbia –> Buonconvento –> S. Quirico d’Orcia –> Castello di Ripa d’Orcia.
From A-1 exit estimated time: 1 and half hrs.
By car from South (Roma). Highway A-1 (exit ‘Chiusi-Chianciano’): Follow the signs to Chianciano Terme –> Montepulciano –> Pienza –> S. Quirico d’orcia –> Castello di Ripa d’Orcia or Ripa d’Orcia.
From A-1 exit estimated time: 1 hr.

By car from East (Umbria). Coming from Perugia follow the signs to highway A-1 to Firenze up to the exit ‘Bettolle-Valdichiana’. Drive through Bettolle and then follow the signs to Torrita di Siena –> Pienza –> S. Quirico d’Orcia –> Castello di Ripa d’Orcia.
