The Villa and Fattoria are two buildings
intimately linked and form part of one single structure. Although,
in the past the first was exclusively intended as the home of the
Sergardi family, and the second for agricultural activity, principally
for the production of Classic Chianti wine and olive oil.
Nowadays both the Fattoria and the Villa offer the best hospitality,
differentiated only by the types of apartments; those of a cosy
and rustic tuscan style are located in the Fattoria,
on top of which are four indipendent little houses with their own
garden.
The seven apartments, found on the 1st floor of the Villa,
and put at the disposal of the guests, are greater in size, and
as a general rule, are decorated ornately with paintings and frescos.
The building, settled in the luscious green tuscan countryside,
is framed by the “italian garden” and the so called
“bosco inglese”. Then between the olive groves you will
find the “viale dei cipressi” which leads the way to
the swimmingpool, from where you can enjoy a beautiful
view of Siena and its surroundings in the distance.
