If you come from Geneve-Pisa:
Motorway exit "Pisa Areoporto", Florence direction
("FI-PI-LI" four-lane motorway), exit Pondedera-Ponsacco,
follow Volterra signs.
10 Km from Volterra continue on the main road and instead
of following volterra signs, go on to Colle Val d'Elsa crossing
a Era bridge. After about 6 Km you will find a crossing with
again Volterra signs (on the right).
Turn left in Cozzano/Ulignano direction. From here and then
turn always left, at every crossing you find. You will find
also some signs with arrows that will lead you to Villa Loghino.
If you come from Rome and Grosseto (national road Aurelia):
Cecina exit, follow signs for Volterra. Once you get
Volterra cover the main road and go on in Colle Val d'Elsa
direction.
At Roncolla (about 4 Km once you leave Volterra) turn left
for Pisa-Pontedera. After about 4 Km you will find a crossing
with signs for Volterra (to the left).
Turn right in Cozzano/Ulignano direction. From here and
then you will turn left, at each crossing you will find.
You will find the signs with arrows that will lead you to
Villa Loghino.
If you come from Bologna-Florence: Motorway exit
"Firenze Certosa" Siena direction(four-lane).
Colle Val d'Elsa - Volterra exit and follow Volterra signs.
At about 4 Km from Volterra, at Roncolla, turn right for
Pisa-Pontedera.
After about 4 Km you will find a crossing with Volterra
signs (to the left). Turn right in Cozzano/Ulignano direction.
From here and then turn always left, at every crossing you
will find. You will find also signs with arrows that will
lead you to Villa Loghino.
If you come from Siena - Grosseto - Rome (A1):
Only for those who come from Rome:motorway exit Val di Chiana,
follow the signs for Siena. Raccordo autostradale Siena-Firenze
(4 corsie) direzione Firenze, uscita Colle Val d'Elsa and
follow Volterra signs. At about 4 Km from Volterra, at Roncolla,
turn right for Pisa-Pontedera. After about 4 Km you will
find again signs for Volterra (to the left). Turn right
to Cozzano/Ulignano direction. From here and then turn always
left, at every crossing you will find.You will find also
signs with arrows that will lead you to Villa Loghino.

Volterra, dominates from high all the valley of Cecina river. It
is 550 metres high and it is considered as an art jewel because
it was inhabitated since etruscan age and it is rich in roman, medioeval
and Reinassance traces.
