The land of Strove.
The history of this small village cradled by the Sienese hills started
shortly before the year 1000, but its origins are even older. In
fact, the Etruscan road passed through Strove and it was indeed
the Etruscans who gave it a name, inspired by the red colour of
its earth. Later came the pilgrims of the Frankish Road and the
knights, the battles and the legends, the curches and the castles.
